From Sydney’s closest wine region, Briar Ridge Wines are one of the leading producers of the Hunter and have been awarded numerous accolades on both the national and international wine show circuit. And while awards and medals are something to be admired, so too is the story of winemaker Gwyneth ‘Gwyn’ Olsen.
Join us at The Edinburgh Castle on October 6 to meet Gwyn and learn more about the beauty of Briar Ridge Wines. Gwyn is not just your average winemaker, she has recently joined an elite group of winemakers after being named DUX of the Australian Wine Research Institute, Advanced Wine Assessment Course 2012. So she’s a bit of a big deal.

Sydney Swans vs Adelaide Crows
If you love your AFL then you probably don’t mind a frothy before the footy either, particularly when it’s your home team at your home ground in the Semi Finals. Lucky for you footy fiends the Sydney Swans v Adelaide Crows game at Sydney Cricket Ground is on this Saturday the 17th September at 7.25pm. Stop by for an afternoon session with your mates and get yourself ready for the match ahead or drop by after and finish your night off right, we’re open till 2am.

If there’s anything better than a hearty pub lunch after a serious cultural fill then we don’t want to know about it. Right now, on at the NSW Art Gallery are two of the greatest artists in history, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, with 33 artworks on exhibit from the pair. Why not enjoy a stroll around the gallery and stop by The Eddy after, we’ll be waiting with good vibes, good music and some of our favourite dishes.
